Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 16 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.
I did one similar waaaay back, so if I repeat myself, please be patient.
1. In Elementary and Junior High school, I wanted to be an archeologist when I grew up.
2. In High School, I wanted to be a writer.
3. In College I discovered the delights of linguistics when I took a year of Swedish to fulfill the graduation requirements (and because my maternal grandmother's family was Swedish and I wanted to learn more about that side of my heritage), along with an Introduction to Linguists.
4. I believe in the possibility of ghosts.
5. I have three sisters; one older, two younger.
6. Three places I hope to visit someday: Sweden, Wales, and Australia.
7. If I were independently wealthy and could afford it, I'd have a winter home in the Cayman Islands.
8. I enjoy reading certain adult-themed genres of fan fiction, but am a total wuss when it comes to trying to write the 'naughty bits' myself -- ('Fade to Black' is the Timid Writer's FRIEND!)
9. Procrastination is my middle name.
10. My mother was a Music Education major; my father was Speech and Theatre -- is it any wonder my first real job out of college was at a radio station?
11. I suck at live action role play, because I don't think fast on my feet;, but give me a little time to plan something out, by golly, you want melodrama and angst? You'll get the whole wagon load, baby! (okay, crash the wedding, kidnap the bride, accuse the groom of attempted murder, blow up the docking bay -- is there time for a duel to the death? how about an assassination attempt on the emperor? aaaand ACTION!)
12. I love Chows.
13. I studied Middle Eastern Dance on and off (mostly off) for 10 years.
14. My husband and I were founding members of the local SCA chapter almost 30 years ago. We pretty much dropped out of the medieval re-enactment game when our daughter was born (she's 18).
15. Current Anime interests include 'Code Geass', 'Shonen Onmyoji', 'Kyo Kara Maoh'; I still love Yu-Gi-Oh, Rurouni Kenshin, Saiyuki, Gravitation, the Real Ghostbusters (okay, technically not anime).
16. I am a cloth and yarn junkie; every time I go into a fabric or craft store I end up purchasing material or knitting supplies that I will probably NEVER do ANYTHING constructive with.
