Cheesy TV Movie is Cheesy....

Watching "Megafault" on the SyFy Channel Saturday night, and seeing a CGI mountain looming behind the Pierce School Mall.... and south Jersey Ridge Road masquerading as Vale, Colorado .... and some stray town in Kansas.... and gee, I never realized how much both Washington D.C. and someplace West Virginia resemble downtown D-port....

*Snickers* But seriously, folks, the wrong lead actor fell into the fault.... I was ready to toss whiny smug entitled-much? female lead into the abyss myself by the time the movie was only HALF over....


And in other news, I learned an important fact re: sweet potatoes. Next year, I gotta plant them earlier, and curtail the vines a little better...I dug up lots of tiny sweet potatoes Sunday afternoon, in the darnedest places!

I know.... only thing I can think of is that Sci-Fi can't be 'trade marked', since it's common usage.
