A mixed Bag of reactions....

1) Happy Birthday, grieving_plain!!!! Many Happy Returns of the Day!!!!

2) Hang in there, Lucidscreamer.... help is on the way. *Hugs*

3) Osama bin Laden.... First reaction: "They finally got the bastard, YES!!!!!" Second reaction: "They killed him. Oh shit! And now he's a martyr for the miltant Islamic radicals to rally around." Third reaction: "Stop showing all the bloody details, CNN! I'm trying to eat my breakfast!"

4)We've been watching the anime "Spice and Wolf"; one of the main characters is 'Holo the Wise Wolf', a nature spirit who (obviously)incarnates as a wolf/woman.... so now the fur-hooligans have new nicknames. Bel, the elder and more dignified is 'the Wise Chow'; Jethro, younger and more vocal, is 'the Whiny Chow', lol.

The family budget took a nasty hit the last week of April, with TWO emergency visits to the dentist (me and Daughter). Ugh. (waves 'bai' to TARDIScon savings stash - at least there's still time to build it up again).

And that's the news from not_hathor land....for now.

I bought volume one of the manga--didn't know there was an anime! May I please borrow it, along with the Dr. Who? (And probably half your anime collection :-)

It's off Netflix (we have a 30 day free trial) so unfortunately there's nothing to borrow, sorry. We've also been watching "Black Butler" and a bunch of chessy 'B' sf movies from the '50's..., as well as "Toy Story 3" and 'Man of La Mancha'. But you're welcome to borrow the Doctor Who and SarahJane next time you visit.
