I've been snarly and snappish, on edge and out of sorts since sometime Sunday. My Chows are acting like brain-damaged hooligans, I've had BAD Service from our local Office Supply store resulting in an extra trip to exchange a wrongly packaged item, Kapersky Anti-Virus/Best Buy Software service are incompetant, my peaceful work environment has been INVADED by the Holiday Bazaar set up, I've misplaced one of my No. 8 knitting needles and I don't have a spare, double-pointed needles were invented by a sadist.....

God, I hope this doesn't mean my period is about to make a surprise cameo appearance!!!!!

Sounds nasty--maybe a prelude to the big storm we've got today? And more tomorrow of the same. Driving over to the folks today, I saw three trees riven in twain, and lots of large branches down.

I know they used to make Knitting needle caps to stick on the pointy ends when not in use...maybe use such thing on one end of double pointed needle?
