Eh, it's been a week, and I just wanna forget about the broken water main/boil order at the church and the pharmacy screw-up, and the Annual reports and all, because it's been a week, and it's all fixed now.

so, That's all I have to say about that.

New lock came for the back door, I picked up Series Three of "Sarah Jane Adventures, finished watching NewWho Series Three (waves 'bye' to Martha -- "see you around!"), and started Series Four - Donna the Super-Temp!!!!
Ten is really starting to slide into the Abyss; Donna needs to smack him upside the EGO good and hard, and often.....

Could have sworn I had an authorized legit copy of SJA One, but darned if I can find it anywhere. Did you borrow it at Christmas, odyssia?

I just checked the Theatre listings for the new Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary movie -- I've got my pick of theatres, if I so choose. Dunno, I still haven't seen "DawnTreader", and I'm wibbling on 'The Green Hornet' which I've read & Heard about and it doesn't sound quite as camp-awful as I feared -- thing is, I <3 the old TV series and the NOW Comics version from the 1990's, with the female Kato. I don't want to ruin the memories.

And why hasn't ANYONE picked up on the crossover possibilities of N.C.I.S and 'It Takes a Thief' -- surely ITaT isn't THAT obscure???!!! I thought I'd found one over on the Pit, sure sounded like it from the summary... but no..... I guess the 'Daddy DiNozzo as Abusive Monster/Mobster' fanon trope is too deeply entrenched.

I seriously slept in this morning, even with the time change. Ugh!

I need to watch "Ghostbusters" and "The Shadow" again to refresh my memory on a few details. This will NOT be wasted time: it's research.

Well, next week is the Procedure. I get put to sleep and have my left shoulder manipulated while all the muscles are limp as over-cooked ramen, and supposedly that will make the Physical Therapy progress better and faster....

Here's something for my dragonwrangler, et al:

YGO/Torchwood: Five years Later )

Gahhhhh, I wish it would rain and get it over with!!!! The humidity is stifling, and it keeps clouding up in afternoons and evenings, but nothing happens!

I MAY go see "Iron Man" at the cheap cinema this weekend. The 3-D 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' looks interesting, as well....
I am conflicted on "The Dark Knight"

I know a couple of people on the f-list have complained about Rich Text Format, but the last couple of days I've had a non-functioning "Back" arrow on LJ... WTF?

HUGS to Planetgal... glad you're home safe, dear heart!

b73 - hope you get home safely too! Looking forward to more 'Painter/Rancher Boyz' soon... Hugs!

reziac - GLOMP!

Our power was out for maybe ten hours, due to the Ice Storm over Saturday night... got it back Sunday morning but a lot of people weren't so lucky. Sunday afternoon the roads were clear enough that I took Daughter to see "Ghost Rider" -- I'm not a big Nicholas Cage fan, but he did a good job, and I felt it was one of the better comic-book based movies produced so far. Okay, maybe a little too much icky CGI towards the end, but I'm a bit squeamish when it comes to rapidly disintegrating bodies. I'd give it two thumbs up, over all.

Actually, not as bad as I'd originally thought, because Husband picked up 'Ah!My Goddess #4' and 'Maburaho!' #7 DVDs over the weekend, but it's still gonna be painful. Still debating on if I really want the 2-disc 'Chronicles of Narnia' set as opposed to the less expensive single disc edition; I suppose it depends on if 'Loveless' #2 is in the shelf, and if there is a 2-disc special edition of 'Brokeback Mountain'.... if so, CoN:LWW can wait.

Did I mention lusting after the 'Mirage of Blaze' thin-pack?

And that's not including the manga: I especially want to get my hands on 'Cantarella' #1 -- supernatural/historical set in Rennaissance Italy starring the Borgias -- because I picked up #2 by accident at a 'buy4, get 5th free' sale last month, and now am totally in love with Chiaro, Rennaisance street punk/assassin, and Cesare Borgia's conscience! Also looking for 'Ghost Hunt' #3, 'YGO:Millenium World' #3, and 'YGO:Duelist' #14.

And thank you, God, that 'Gunlock' isn't due out until the end of the month....
