Nothing In Particular: Random Musings
Jul. 13th, 2010 02:43 pmLast week I receieved the notification of my 35th High School Class Reunion.
High School wasn't QUITE as horrible as Junior High; I do have some fond memories, mostly of Band Trips, Art class, Drama and Spanish Club.... but the rest? I could actually care less if I never see most of my classmates EVER again (a handful of which I actually wouldn't mind seeing only if their lives post-graduation went straight into the sewer and stayed there/pictures on FBI's most Wanted Wall/etc. -- hold a grudge? Me? naaaaah, but I'm a big fan of Karma doing unto others as they did unto me.....)
However, it DOES make a good excuse to try to lose a few pounds over the next 30 days.
******************
Saw "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" on DVD over the weekend -- as I did NOT burst into tears when Heath appeared or sob broken-heartedly through-out or afterwards, I am cautiously optimistic that I MAY be able to watch some of his other movies soon.....
And I have completely missed First Run showings of "Prince of Persia" at the local cinemas. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it at the Second Run theatre in the next few weeks.
