I'm not at all sure why but I just can't seem to concentrate on anything today... it might be the weather, all nasty and wet and cold, or that I didn't sleep too well last night, but my mind seems to wander off topic at the flick of a switch -- NOT a good thing when at work and when the boss is in the office next door.

Last night I unpacked one of the storage tubs and found a lot of glassware that could have been donated to the church bazaar last week. I REALLY need to find the Title for the trailer, because we had another interested person yesterday. This one might actually fly, too, because I took her yesterday noon to look it over, and she was 'oh, this looks so roomy' and 'lots of cupboard space, good!' and 'would payments be all right rather than a lump sum?' and 'Is that a lilac bush out there? I love lilacs!' *keeps fingers crossed*

Anyway, I'm sitting here looking at the flowers from Sunday that I'd ordered in memory of Heath's birthday (4/4/79)... there's orange and some purple, and I think that's kind of a maroon shade.... and wishing there was some way to turn back the calender and start 2008 all over, because so far this has been a pretty crappy year for a lot of people I care about...

Just a quick explanation: when I was putting together my Tribute the other day, I discovered this pic.... and decided that THIS was how I want to remember Heath, poised on the edge of motion and ready to fly off to his next great adventure.

I have no idea of the actual circumstances behind this picture other than it was obviously part of a photo shoot, because I've seen other pics with similar settings/backgrounds. JMOHO.

For someone who spent close to 25 years earning a paycheck using words, I seem to be having difficulty coming up with appropriate ones. So.... I'm going to fall back on quoting one of my favorite singers/songwriters.

Not many pictures, and half of them I'm not certain where they came from: here, there, the Dave Cullen Forum, various photo-manips by LJ friends.

If you recognize any of these, and object to their use, PLEASE let me know A.S.A.P.

Thank you.

So, for the first time in a week, I put one of EricStuart-sama's CDs into the machine....

and started crying again.

It wasn't even the new one, "In the County of Kings", which has a definate 'country western' flavor and which I deliberately DIDN't select for that very reason; it wasn't "Bombshellshocked" either, which has the song I think of as "Jack's Love Song to Ennis" -- Nope.

"Staring you in the Face" (Open Your Eyes)
"One Good Reason"
"The Best Ones Get Away"
"Blue, Dressed in Black"
"Lost Innocence"
"Home"

I probably wouldn't have EVEN SEEN the announcement until tomorrow if I hadn't gone on-line one last time before shutting down for the day, to announce on LJ that after over two years in limbo, I'd FINALLY posted a chapter of "Paths of Righteousness: Still Waters" (story # 3 in my Yu-Gi-Oh Euroshipping series) over on ffnet.

Think I'll go cry some more....
