The Shortest Path Between Two Points....

apparently goes through Cincinnati, Ohio -- at least according to the USPS!!!

Last Thursday (May 25th) we received an e-mail notice from Right Stuf telling us that our back-ordered manga had finally shipped, and gave us the Tracking Number.... So we checked, it was listed as having left Des Moines, Iowa on the 26th. Okay, it generally takes things about two days to travel from DM to the Quad Cities, but because of the holiday, we figured Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest... So, Monday, just for giggles, we check the Tracking and discover that our package is in -- Ta Daaaah! Cincinnatti, Ohio!

WTF!?!?!?

Wednesday we called Right Stuf, to find out if maybe they had our mailing address screwed up; no, no, the address was correct, they were completely baffled as well.... Last night the USPS Tracking had our package back in Des Moines.... so MAYBE TODAY????

And still no sign of my Weiss Kreuz DVDs. Guess I'll call RS again today after the mail comes, and ask politely if they are planning to ship anytime soon?

Politely, because we've been ordering items from Right Stuf since before Christmas, and this is the first time we've had a major screw up.

(I REALLY want my Weiss Kruez -- it's been a rough week; my mother-in-law isn't expected to make it through the weekend, and we can't seem to locate Kent's older daughter to let her know!)

Added 6/5/06: Manga arrived Friday, Right Stuf office not open on Saturday; will call after mail delivery Monday..... I want my anime!!!!!
