Number 1: On September 19th, I shall be, erm, one year shy of 50 years old (OMFG!); I share my birthday with actor Randolf Mantooth, my youngest sister Dawn, and my temporary boss, Pastor Mary.

Number 2: I have never met in person the individual I consider one of my best friends; heck, I don't even know if Ky is male or female, or something in-between. Our friendship started back in 1984 when I saw an ad in a multi-media fanzine looking for others interested in the TV series "Airwolf", wrote a letter..... Ky has helped me get through some of the darkest moments in my adult life, and I love him/her/it dearly, and I so seriously owe Ky a letter or ten, it's not funny!

Number 3: This will be no surprise to you who know me -- I love Chow Chows! I have been priveleged to share my life with four of these magnificent and loving canines so far: Kahvi (named for the Elfquest character), Chani (Dune), Orion, and now Beldandy.

Number 4: The first fanfiction story I ever wrote was a horrible mary-sueish ST:TOS that thankfully never saw the light of day. It was also written for the most part during Algebra class my freshman year of high school.... gee, maybe that's why I got such lousy grades in math!

Number 5: I am of the firm opinion that the classic Japanese Anime masterpiece "AKIRA" is one of the most confusing, boring wastes of time and ink cels ever created.

Number 6: I have a thing for undersocialized genius types in Tv shows, comics, manga and anime (Egon Spengler, RGB -- Braniac5, Legion of Super heroes -- Seto Kaiba, Yu-gi-oh! -- Aya/Ran, WeissKreuz ((okay, not a genius, per se)) -- Aoshi Shinomori, RK -- Satoshi Hiwatari, DNAngel -- Daniel Jackson, SG-1 ---you get the idea!)
