Howling at the Moon

Deep Breath. Hold it a moment. Stare up at the dark sky and the just-past full moon. Open mouth. Let the pain out, loud and raw. Inhale again. Glare at weird neighbor walking by in the street. Hug dog and cry.

Bel needs surgery for the ruptured ligament. Will deal with it tomorrow or next week. Going to bed now.
