That LJ MEME Thing that keeps popping up all over

Okay, guess I might as well....


1. My user name is ..... because .....

not-hathor, because LJ wouldn't allow me to have 'MotherChowGoddess' or any of the variations I tried...


2. My name is ..... because .....

same thing and it's a long story involving my stint as a member of the richie-L Highlander fan group and Clan Denial back in the late 1990's and my ffnet account ID: MotherCHOWGoddess, and once a reviewer left the "H" out of CHOW, and my daughter started teasing me by calling me 'Hathor'


3. My journal is titled ..... because .....

"Furby-Wranglings" -- another long story, also involving the Richie List, my daughter, the McDonalds 'Happy Meal' Furby toys....also kinda an allusion to the Star Wars 'nerf-herder' joke.



4. My friends page is titled ..... because .....

"Clan MacChow-tachi" -- again, with the Highlander fandom connection, also referencing my 20-year and counting co-habitation with a Chow....I had introduced my Chow at the time into a round-robin story the list was writing as 'Chani MacChow of the Clan MacChow' and it sort-of stuck. Members of 'Clan MacChow' were a very select group,but everyone understood that it was all in fun.... -tachi is a Japanese suffix that translates roughly as "and friends", so my FRIENDS page is 'Clan McChow and Friends' --

When I first signed up with LJ, I'd hoped to be able to re-connect with some of my Highlander fandom friends I'd lost track of, and I HAVE found a couple of them *Waves at Rhi*



5. My default user pic is ..... because .....

Heath Ledger at the moment, in tribute to the talent and potential cut short. In the past I've used the RGB Janine because The Real Ghostbusters remains as one of my enduring fandoms, and at times I identify strongly with the redheaded glasses-wearing secretary; another I go back to frequently is the Nebulae icon because if you look closely it appears to be a cosmic yin-yang symbol -- beautiful!
