Patrick McGoohan passed away Tuesday (January 13th); Ricardo Montalban yesterday (January 14th).

*sigh*

I Really am not fond of January. Or February.

Yah, I know I'm over two weeks late -- did some heavy thinking, got distracted by RL, etc.

So, first a quick review of LAST YEAR's list (and whether I succeeded):

1. Stop slipping and falling on icy/snowy porch steps!

Success -- the fall which was probably the catalyst for last year's shoulder problems had NOTHING to do with Ice or Snow....I was carrying a box in from the car, and tripped on the street curb. The Irony come from it being the last car load from the mobile home to the house of The Grand Move (should I mention that most of that last load -- is STILL in the car, even as I type this? NAH.....).

2. Post on my LJ at LEAST once a week, and not just meme's.

Looking at it from a strictly week- by- week count....No.
However, if one takes the total posts for the year (not counting a few instances when there were multiple posts on a given day) which is 78, and divide by the number of weeks in the year--52 -- for the average, then YES, I did.

3. Work on and finish one WIP each month. (Heh....heh heh heh heh...)

FAIL... on the other hand, I DID post the first two chapters of "Paths of Righteousness" over at the Vole-Pit, noodled around with YGO/Torchwood fragments, participated in NaNoWriMo, and am now something over 10,000 words into a Shadow-RGB story I'd been cogitating over for lo! these many years.....

4. Post a comment to one of the stories I read once a day.

Well, if you substitute 'friends-list post' for 'stories', then you could say I came pretty close. I DID try.....

5. Hmmmm, that's enough, I think. LOL.

'Nuff Said.

I think I'll keep working on Numbers 2, 3 & 4.

NEW New Year's Resolutions:

1. Go to bed at a reasonable hour. Like, before 11:00 p.m. on work nights.
