Oh, That was Just Too Cute.....

My sister oddyssia and I went to DucKon this past weekend (more on that later) where we each picked up a gorgeous Folkmanis Gryphon puppet toy (mine's 'Godric', hers is 'Fleur') -- got home last, put Godric up on the back of a chair so the Chows wouldn't play with him during the night and pull him to bits..... this morning, I'm sitting in the computer alcove catching up on the weekend's worth of e-mails and such, when Bel noses open the accordion door to the living room and starts growling like 'there's a weird strange thing in there, Mom'..... and Jethro joins her -- and I get up to check, because I'm thinking, 'hey, it's raining, might be a snake' (we've already had one earlier this spring) and I realize to my vast amusement (yep, you've seen this coming a mile off!) -- they are reacting to the Gryphon on the back of Mommy's chair!!!!
