Well, next week is the Procedure. I get put to sleep and have my left shoulder manipulated while all the muscles are limp as over-cooked ramen, and supposedly that will make the Physical Therapy progress better and faster....
Here's something for my dragonwrangler, et al:
Five Years Later: Cardiff, Wales
“So,” Mokuba started, “this guy you’re looking for --”
“My uncle.”
“Your uncle,” the younger boy corrected himself. Who’s supposedly dead, was the unspoken addendum. “Why Cardiff? Didn’t you tell Niisama that his last known mailing address was Newcastle?”
“Newcastle was a dead end,” interjected Seto. “As were London, Oxford and Geneva. Absolutely no record of a Major Jamieson Harper in connection with U.N.I.T. activities since 1998. This is a waste of time.”
“Maybe your Grandmother…”
“No.” Other than the fact that he’d rather participate in a Tomb Keepers’ Rite of Passage, hieroglyphic tattoos and all, than owe anything more to That Woman… Ryou sighed. “Grandmother never liked Uncle Jamie; if she knew anything, I seriously doubt she’d tell anyone. Especially me.”
“There might not be anything to tell, Bakura-kun,” the elder Kaiba said bluntly. Ryou bit his lip and stared across the Plaza at the Cardiff Millenium Centre. He didn’t want to give up hope, but after all, what did he actually have to support his belief in Jamieson Harper’s continued existence a good eleven years after the official “We Regret to Inform You” notice from Her Majesty’s Finest? A drug and fever-hazed memory from five years ago of strong arms and whispered reassurances, and an odd card attached to a ‘Get Well’ arrangement of hollyhocks, lavender and primroses with no other identifier note.
Torchwood. Cardiff.
Gahhhhh, I wish it would rain and get it over with!!!! The humidity is stifling, and it keeps clouding up in afternoons and evenings, but nothing happens!
I MAY go see "Iron Man" at the cheap cinema this weekend. The 3-D 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' looks interesting, as well....
I am conflicted on "The Dark Knight"
