I figure it was a combination of BOTH: not being serious enough about NaNoWriMo, and being TOO serious about it....

BUT! I Did get over 10,000 words writ of a story that had been banging around my brain for the better part of the past ten years or so that previously got no further than than some spotty research along the 'What If?" lines.

Details later.... I have to work tomorrow, and the waterbed is calling my name.

Major congratulations! I'm happy to hear you made it to at least a good goal. It's further than I got my first NaNo.

Yay! That's sometimes the hardest part, getting the story down. (And I may have hit the goal, but I have no idea what the last 20,000 words say.)
