When I first saw the previews for tonight's N.C.I.S. episode a week ago, the first thing our of my mouth was....

"Tony's dad is ALexander Mundy????!!!!! That would explain SOooooooo much!!!!!"
(I just seriously dated myself, didn't I?)


Well, not quite.


I thought it was great, myself. *Pets the Tony*

Actually, the DiNozzo, Sr. character was more like the con-man RJW portrayed in that series with Eddie Albert back in the '80's ("Switch",I think it was called) -- not quite the abusive, power-hungry multibillionare CEO/Mobster monster so dear to the hearts of many a NCIS fan-ficcer .... On the other hand, it's not too much of a stretch between CEO and Con-Man, methinks.

But, yeah...I'm a bit surprised no one else seems to have picked up on the Munday angle; Lord knows I've seen plenty of Ducky = retired MUNCLE fics.
