Woke up this morning with watery eyes and gunk in my throat; seems I may have contracted Husband's cold (I was already coughing a bit).

ugh. I need coffee. and chocolate.

Sending good vibes and huggles. Poor Bel--I remember how freaked Orion got one time when I sneezed. Right now Mike and I are fighting over the heating pad--me for my hip and him for his knee, which he fell on (ice) two weeks ago and has been getting worse instead of better. Getting worried about that; it's the same knee/leg that he broke and has pins in.

Am two thirds done with my first knitted hat. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong--I wasn't doing "yarn over" between knit and purl. Koh has been well behaved around the knitting--she will lie half on my shoulder and half on my chest while the needles are clicking away and the yarn is in my lap. What a good kitty!
