Gaaaaaahhhhhhh!

Okay, that's it, I'm de-friending the lj nanowrimo because a) it's overrun my friends page, and b) I'm on the verge of developing an inferiority complex because of all the spectacular first day word counts being reported.

I was so pleased earlier upon reaching the minimum daily count without negatively impacting the household's functioning, especially since it came at a natural break in the storyline, even though I have yet to succeed in accessing the NaNo site.... I am having a TERRIBLE time NOT self-correcting typos and editing as I go! I seem to be constitutionally incapable of just.... spewing verbiage, willy nilly! On the positive side I'm indulging shamelessly in my beloved long wordy multiple-claused sentences that can form their very own paragraphs all by themselves!

Hubby is watching the Brendan Fraser 3D "Journey to the Center of the Earth"; I tried, but it made my eyes hurt, so I thought I'd try to bang out a few more paragraphs for an nice even 2000 words before calling it a night.
