OKAY, Health Update
Jan. 16th, 2020 09:50 am Last night the dr.'s office finally called with my lab results:
A1C - no change from six months ago. Still just above normal, so we're going to work on that. I had lost weight (in a good way), so I'm within 20 pounds of my stated Driver's License weight, so I'm happy with that.
My Triglycerides are up --- so I get an increase in my atorvastatin dosage.
There was something a little off about my liver, so we're going to keep an eye on that.
Dropping the diuretic, because I'm at maximum dosage and my Blood Pressure is still higher than they like, but adding a new BP medication because my Blood Pressure is still high than they like. Plus I have to monitor and keep a daily record for the next couple weeks. Ugh.
The new medication has some listed side effects that I don't care for the sound of, so here's hoping that for once the family luck is on my side.
