not_hathor Well, apparently I have a healthy colon -- for a person of my not so tender years. My admitting nurse last Friday was a real character; she kept telling me that this would be the best nap I never remembered.....
BoyFriendZ rose to the occasion, and handled Adric wonderfully for the drive home, with a stop at the local Denny's restaurant where I treated both BFZ and Daughter to breakfast. I had their new 'Greek Omelet' and it was delicious.... mushrooms, black olives, spinach, feta cheese -- it got even tastier when I accidentally dropped a glob of strawberry jam on it! Granted, I was REEEEEEEALLLLY hungry by then, but seriously: BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!!
Of course, as soon as we got home, all of us crashed into our assorted beds. The Chows were a bit miffed.
This has been a quiet week. Pastor is out of town again, so we got most of the Sunday bulletin ready ahead of time. The only excitement has been the Boiler Team finally getting the replacement wiring panel for Boiler #1 and installing it, and the Building Maintenance team painting the downstairs bathrooms.
Is it nap time yet?
