loneraven's SHERLOCK story "And the Rivers Shall Give Up Their Dead" to my memories (having finally gotten through the lj backlog from last weekend!) -- I honestly cannot describe how the story resonates other to say I FELT it..... Being an unrepentant Anglophile, a lover of Holmes and Watson in almost any incarnation, amateur mythologist and semi-historian, this story rang true on nearly every one of my buttons....
